About the Job
The Timecard Administrator (TCA) will provide document and data handling support by reviewing and processing timecard information received via email or Teams for the IRS contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Perform repetitive clerical steps such as document verification, manage inbound and outbound routine calls, and greeting guests.
- Perform entry-level clerical duties requiring general knowledge and the application of various work methods and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to project and operations management, which may include identifying, anticipating, and meetings needs of all departments.
-Compare, sort and verify accuracy of data to be entered into the Electronic Timekeeping System (ETS).
-Answer basic timekeeping questions and escalation of issues via email for resolution.
-Develop thorough knowledge of all Maximus Federal timekeeping policies and procedures.
-Prepare, sort and track source documents and identify and interpret data to be keyed. Compare data entered with source documents or reenter data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
-Help maintain processing procedures and streamline operations by pointing out data flow problems
-Perform various clerical duties.
-Support corporate and departmental timekeeping initiatives such as compliance reporting and timekeeping audits.
-Adhere to and promote Maximus Federal Timekeeping policies and procedures.
-Adhere to Ethics, Security and Culture of Responsibility procedures protecting customer information.
-Adhere to current and modified processing procedures, contractual commitment processing time and provide a high level of quality.
-The position is required to provide coverage on Friday evenings and/or weekends.
-Other duties as assigned.
-Overtime may be required.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.
-High School diploma or equivalent required
-Minimum 1 year customer service/help desk/administrative/telemarketing experience required.
-Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy is required.
-Previous experience with timecard administration is preferred.
-Demonstrated customer service, leadership, and team interaction skills preferred
-Must be US Citizen per client requirements
-Ability to pass a federal background check
-Must reside in Contiguous US
Home Office Requirements:
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection (no WIFI or Hotspot)
- Internet download speed of 25mbps and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net )
-Private work area and adequate power source
