* TIG Welder - TOPS Staffing

TOPS has partnered with a local manufacturing company to find an experienced TIG Welder to add to their growing team. 

Job Details:

Temporary
Position is Daylight shift.  6:30am to 3pm 
Pay: Based on exp. $25

Duties/Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting welding codes and blueprints.

Measure, and align metal workpieces prior to welding.

They collaborate with manufacturing engineers to address issues related to damaged ducts.

They also carry out tests on ducting assemblies by pressurizing components and submerging in water to test welds.

As part of their responsibilities, tungsten inert gas welders make sure operation of gas and non-gas welding equipment are in accordance with safety guidelines.

They maintain good working knowledge of all welding positions and instrument operation.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent or AS degree

• 1 years of related work experience or AS degree in related field

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.

• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
