We are looking for several dedicated, self-motivated team players to be part of The Growing Douglas Team.
Available Position:
Standard Assembly Welder
Available Opening(s):
Multiple shifts and positions are available.
Four 10 Hour shifts
4 PM 2:30 AM Monday - Thursday
Job Description:
Position requires the ability to weld and fabricate sheet metal, pipe, and tube.
Follow shop drawings and 3D models to fit/tack/weld components into subassemblies,
up to full machine build.
Use MIG and TIG processes to weld inside, and outside corners of sheet metal, angle, tube,
and pipe.
Clean all welds using buffing wheels and air-driven wire brushes.
Install fittings, pumps, gauges, and hardware to complete machine assembly.
Job Qualifications / Skill Requirements:
Must have work history using MIG and TIG welding processes.
Ability to read, understand and follow shop drawings.
Be able to work independently yet be part of a team.
Ability to read a tape measure, work in fractions, and do basic math.
Be able to safely operate basic hand tools such as drills, grinders, and air-driven hand
tools.
General Plumbing and Electrical skills are helpful but not necessary.
Forklift, Scissor Lift, Press Brake, or other equipment experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Standing, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb up and down ladders, bend, squat, and lay on the ground, and reach overhead.
