Job Description
The Facilities Management Department is seeking applications for a Third Shift Lead Custodian. The hours for this position are 10:30 PM – 7 AM Sunday – Thursday (Overtime may be required), Excellent educational benefits are available for this full-time position.
The Third Shift Custodian must be able to verify Web Time Entry for each custodian, train custodians on the usage of housekeeping equipment and various chemicals, and oversee the general cleaning of the University. This individual must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
- General cleaning and care of the University buildings; which includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pulling trash, cleaning restrooms, common areas, and other areas/tasks as assigned
- Cleaning routines that may be performed daily, weekly, monthly, or by request
- Use of chemicals and equipment as trained with proper PPE
- Audit supplies on carts in closets, reporting which supplies need to be restocked
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Ability to lift 40 pounds is required
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and routinely lift moderate to heavy objects to perform the functions of this job is required
- Ability to pass a physical, lift, and drug test is required
