- Provide crucial analysis support to the current staff in the field of fluid and thermal sciences.
- Utilize a combination of in-house, commercial, and proprietary tools to comprehend product performance related to thermal and fluid challenges.
- Develop comprehensive plans for technical approaches, cost estimation, and project schedules.
- Gather input data, construct models, debug, validate, and interpret results to provide actionable insights.
- Generate detailed reports outlining methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
- Communicate findings effectively through presentations in both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Review the work of colleagues to ensure quality and accuracy.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in engineering tools including programming languages (C++, Python), integrated toolsets (Matlab), and commercial analysis codes (Ansys suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within teams.
- Strong team player with the ability to work productively and respectfully in group settings.
- Capability to develop first-principle physics-based models and validate/debug complex commercial-code models.
Experience Required:
- Prior work experience in an engineering organization, specializing in physics-based analyses within the thermal/fluids domain.
- Direct experience collaborating with seasoned engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Coursework demonstrating a strong focus and success in thermal/fluids-related subjects.
