The Opportunity: Mental Health Therapist
We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Therapist to join our psychiatric department and contribute to providing coordinated care that supports the mental and emotional well-being of our patients. In this role, you'll collaborate with medical teams to offer holistic support across medical, behavioral health, and education systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support, care coordination, and resource connection for pediatric patients and their families.
- Assist families in navigating medical, behavioral health, and educational systems to ensure comprehensive care.
- Deliver counseling services, particularly in crisis situations, for individuals and families, focusing on the adolescent population.
- Work closely with the clinical committee to develop and implement screening and treatment protocols for mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism, and learning disabilities.
- Track and report metrics related to social services to monitor outcomes and effectiveness.
- Provide patient education through internal and external classes or individualized training sessions.
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) are all encouraged to apply.
- Valid PA State License to provide counseling services.
- Experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families.
- Ability to work in a collaborative care environment—candidates cannot maintain a private solo practice or work with another group.
- Experience with adolescent counseling is a plus.
