Job Summary:
Works with clients of all ages who have difficulties with behavior thoughts or feelings. These difficulties may include, but not limited to, depression, anxiety phobias, aggression, child abuse, self harming, and any form of trauma they may have experienced either directly or in-directly and any other disorder indicated on the DSM-5. Work as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to development treatment and service plans, provide integrated therapies, education, and case management services, monitor progress, and review and adjust plans based on client progress or lack of progress. Salary: $50,000-$55,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed for individuals with emotional, mental and complexly traumatized clients, caregivers, and all persons involved in the care of client.
- Conduct assessments and assist in data collection for the evaluation of clients, as needed.
- Plan and coordinate clinical activities for traumatized children and their caretakers in the residential treatment center and BHS for clients for with co-occurring disorders.
- Function as a part of interdisciplinary team to collaboratively conduct trauma informed interventions
- Develop trauma informed and education and training programs for stakeholder groups and the community as well as work with Counselors, Case Managers, Childcare Workers, and other integrated trauma informed services into the residential treatment program to develop any needed adaptations or modifications for interventions and intervention materials.
- Inform the public about mental health and trauma to develop awareness and the prevention of trauma to a vulnerable population.
- Collaborate with all required agencies, to develop training, modify the interventions, and write articles for publication if needed.
- Participate in staff training, and development and implementation of the quality improvement process as it relates to therapy, assisting staff with arriving at solutions to client problems as they relate to trauma issues.
- Responsible for maintaining the client charts in compliance with agency, state and any other rules and standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or designated by Supervisory and Executive Staff.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

- Six (6)months to One (1) year experience in Therapy/Mental health field
