We are seeking a full-time Therapist/Case Manager to provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as case management services to children and adolescents with emotional, social, and/or behavioral issues. A Day in the Life as a Therapist/Case Manager: As a Therapist/Case Manager, you will provide intensive individual, family, and group therapy, along with case management for students with diverse needs and diagnoses. Your role involves:
- Providing direct therapeutic services and documenting clinical work
- Communicating with families and external providers
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each student’s needs
- Developing and monitoring treatment goals in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individual Academic Plans (IAPs)
Your work will help shape the therapeutic milieu across the school, contributing to a clinical approach in all activities and interactions. You will complete progress reports, IEP/IAP tracking, and mental health assessments, while ensuring students receive the clinical care they need to thrive. We provide onsite training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and regular clinical supervision, including opportunities to accumulate supervision hours toward licensure. Depending on experience, there may also be opportunities to train staff and supervise graduate externs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.), Clinical Social Worker, School Social Worker, Clinical Professional Counselor, or Marriage Family Therapist
- Licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation as a Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or ALMFT
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field
- Experience working with students with Emotional Disabilities and/or Autism
- Trauma-informed clinical experience preferred
