We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Therapist to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a deep understanding of mental health, and a strong background in clinical assessment and patient counseling. This role requires a high level of proficiency in healthcare software and a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare law and ethics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality patient care, conducting detailed assessments, and consulting on a range of healthcare matters.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the mental and emotional health status of patients.
2. Provide patient counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups.
3. Utilize healthcare software for patient record keeping, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
4. Adhere to all healthcare laws and ethics, ensuring patient confidentiality and rights are upheld at all times.
5. Provide healthcare consulting services, advising on patient care strategies and treatment plans.
6. Work with patients suffering from addiction and substance abuse, providing support during detox and recovery stages.
7. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
8. Specialize in adolescent psychiatry, addressing the unique mental health needs of this demographic.
9. Assist patients in their recovery journey, providing support, guidance, and resources.
10. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in the field.
Qualifications:
1. A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
2. Must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a healthcare facility.
4. Extensive experience in clinical assessment, patient counseling, and healthcare consulting.
5. Proficiency in using healthcare software for administrative tasks.
6. In-depth knowledge of healthcare law and ethics.
7. Experience working with addiction, substance abuse, detox, and recovery patients.
8. Specialization or significant experience in adolescent psychiatry.
9. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
10. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
11. Commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in the field.
