The Industrial Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Manager is responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines (with a focus on Okuma machines), conveyor systems, automated inventory systems, and overall facility maintenance. This role ensures the seamless operation of production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of Geremarie’s manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities

CNC Machine Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines, particularly Okuma models, to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
- Diagnose and address mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with programming and machining teams to ensure machines are calibrated and running accurately.

Conveyor Systems and Automated Inventory Systems:
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems and automated inventory systems to ensure smooth material handling and storage operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with sensors, motors, and control systems in automated setups.

Facilities Maintenance:
- Perform general facilities maintenance tasks, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building repairs, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of safety systems, including fire suppression and emergency lighting.

Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems to avoid unexpected failures and extend equipment life.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records for regulatory compliance and operational tracking.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to minimize disruptions and enhance overall efficiency.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices and equipment performance.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements for aging or inefficient systems and equipment.
Qualifications
·
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on CNC machinery (Okuma experience highly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and automated inventory systems.
- Facilities maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and work in various industrial environments.
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Salary Range
$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 annual salary. The offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market condition and location.
