Job Description:
• Join our Information Technology team to take charge of up front test case analysis, communication and defect tracking in all areas of application flows and it's functionalities for mission critical Point of Sale (POS) applications to make sure all future launches are successful without customer impacts.
· Create the master test plan for a project, conceiving of the testing strategy and approach. Contribute to the initial project design phase of a project(s), providing input on test plans, estimates, and test strategies for a project(s), working closely with Application Development, ITCAM, BA and UAT teams
· Manage the creation of all project level test plans, detailed test plan, or phase level plans and upload the test plans to QC
· Participate in technical requirements, design discussions, and leading test plan reviews
· Lead test reviews and signoff on test case for aligned projects
· Interpret and analyze detailed design documents outlining gaps and/or issues, assuring coverage of business requirements
· Develop test plans for small to medium projects for system and integration testing
· Develop QA automated test plans and Test Case Reviews and compile feedback to improve the quality of deliverables
· Test and support Change Controls during production Implementation and troubleshoot any issues that come up during the production Implementation
· Support medium to large complex Test projects under minimal direction of senior staff and management
· Manage test reporting, defect resolution, results analysis and metrics.
· Evaluates options for meeting user needs, and ensures that system requirements are identified, prioritized and incorporated in an effective and efficient manner.
· Participate in the promotion of best practices within the organization in collaboration with other analysts and other IT personnel.
· Work closely with application development team on defect resolutions and shares information with UAT teams
