GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, and performs services and repairs on assemblies, sub-assemblies or systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level
- Work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments
- Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions
- Calibrate electronic test equipment and test stations
- Ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines and equipment
- Manage time to meet new production, return schedules and budget
- Provide accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents
- Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

Required Experience:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
Ability to adhere to workplace rules
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions and component identifications
Ability to perform required test operations
General test equipment utilized (Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Frequency counter, and Power Meter)
Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
A minimum of 3 years of test technician experience
Advanced experience with MS Office
Working knowledge of digital and RF electronics
Successful completion of electronic technician training, AS degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent, preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Production environment
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses
