About the Job
In this role, you will work with a team of technician(s) to test, troubleshoot and help to resolve issues on various types of hardware ranging from missile guidance sets, full-up missiles, launch containers, and large wheeled and tracked military vehicles.
- Tests may involve any manner of variables, including but not limited to pressure, vacuum, load testing, electronic and physical functionality, and hydraulic/pneumatic operations.
- Processes may include the use of hand tools to maintain test equipment, install missile or vehicle components, and mate/demate electronic contacts and cables.
- Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
- Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field OR equivalent experience/combined education.
- Ability to work in an Explosive environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)
- Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters
- Familiarity with the mate/demate of electrical contacts and connectors
- Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain (This requires US Citizenship due to export compliance)
