Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Test Operator - Aircraft Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the manufacturing industry, ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, be familiar with servo actuators test stand, and have a solid understanding of the mechanics of aircraft. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge aerospace technology and contribute to the creation of state-of-the-art aircraft.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive tests on aircraft systems, including but not limited to servo actuators, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
2. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various aircraft systems, employing a deep understanding of aircraft mechanics.
3. Use servo actuators test stand and other specialized equipment to evaluate system performance and identify potential problems.
4. Work closely with the engineering team to implement test procedures and interpret test data, contributing to the development and improvement of aircraft designs.
5. Ensure all testing and maintenance activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
6. Document all test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for management and engineering teams.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and schedules to maximize aircraft lifespan and performance.
9. Stay abreast of latest developments in aerospace technology and testing methodologies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
2. Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, including servo actuators.
3. Proficiency in using servo actuators test stand and other testing equipment.
4. Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various aircraft systems.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
7. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
9. A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus.
