Test Engineer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidate must have experience in reliability testing and will design test fixtures, gather user behavior data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test accuracy and documentation.

 

Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Test Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Creating and validating mechanical, environmental, or chemical tests for product portfolio.

• Collaborating with teams to gather user behavior data and designing necessary test fixtures and equipment.

• Conducting reliability tests and validating results through GR&R (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility).

• Working with various teams to understand stress conditions and ensure accurate testing procedures.

• Documenting test processes and procedures through Keynote and working with a technical writer to formalize reports.

• Engaging with equipment vendors to source new test capabilities, while teams handle negotiations and payments.

• Using test data to guide development decisions and next steps in the testing process.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reliability testing or a similar technical role.

• Strong background in automated testing with attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience designing test fixtures, documenting processes, and validating test results.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
