Test Engineer – Lititz, PA

The Opportunity

Our client, a local electronics manufacturer supplying the defense industry, has engaged us to identify a Test Engineer for their Lititz, PA location.

This position reports to the engineering team leadership and is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining vendor software and tools to support automated testing systems.

Other responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining tools for deployment and monitoring of automated test applications
• Providing software troubleshooting support for the production floor
• Supporting the development of unified test data storage and retrieval from SQL databases
• Reading and interpreting vendor documentation to create new instrument device drivers

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1+ years of experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Visual Basic
• Experience with automated test software and a scripting language like Python
• Familiarity with SCM systems (e.g., Git, TFS, or Perforce) and test instruments like oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance within the first 90 days
