TransCore (TRN) a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:ROP) is seeking Twenty (20) Test Drivers to join our team in Orlando, FL.
Summary: The On-Call Driver supports the operations of the Test Engineer Team by performing various support tasks as noted in the position requirements. These positions are temporary in nature and will last approximately 3-months in duration and are hired through a third-party temporary staffing firm with benefits subject to the staffing firm’s eligibility requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have the ability to multitask and be well organized and timely
- Responsible for safe driving/control of TransCore owned/rented/leased vehicles at all times
- Responsible for refueling vehicles
- Maintain the safety, security, and control of the vehicle at all times
- Report all faults experienced during the day’s activity
- Excellent customer service, communication, and people skills
- Ability to work under pressure and sit and drive for long periods of time
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
- Ability to listen and execute instructions
- Must maintain FL driver’s license in good standing as verified by TransCore and meet driving qualifications as set forth in TransCore’s Vehicle Policy
- Driving record must be free of DUI/DWI for three-year period prior to employment
- Must be able to pass Staffing Firm’s background screening to include: drug screen, criminal record and education check, and verification of prior employment
- Must be able to provide proof of current auto insurance
- Minimum of 21 years of age
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
