Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in Testing methodology for large enterprise environment
- 5+ years' experience in architecting test automation frameworks/harnesses, performance testing/engineering, leading transformational projects
- Experience in building solutions using multiple tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio/TFS/VSTS, HC QC/ALM/Performance Center, Selenium, Web & Mobile App Testing third party frameworks, Service Virtualization, Test data management
- Ability to work across teams to understand enterprise quality requirements, and ensure adoption of core processes and standards
- Strong understanding of SDLC, experience in Agile and traditional methods
- Experience in test data management and tools
- Experience in driving holistic QA strategies including test automation as key pillar
- Experience in integrating automated tests for continuous integration (using tools such as Jenkins, OpenShift)
- Clear understanding of agile, continuous delivery, DevOps requirements
- Required education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software engineering or related field
- SAP Worksoft experience
- Manufacturing industry
Responsibility:
- Define overall test strategy including automation as a core component to transform enterprise QA for Agile, CD, DevOps
- Select and recommend most effective test tools, processes and test design techniques
- Architect test automation frameworks for catering to specific enterprise quality such as regression, end to end and performance testing
- Design test environments for high coverage, performance, and reliability of testing results
- Define best practices for test coverage including both functional and nonfunctional quality aspects (such as performance, security)
- Build reusable process & tools to enable teams deliver quality in an autonomous yet enterprise aligned manner
- Provide estimations, and drive test quality through right metrics & KPIs
- Mentor others on best practices in software testing strategies/techniques
- Help teams and individuals design a sound software testing strategy, and get hands-on if needed
- Drive testability, diagnostibility, automatability, and instrumentation across the enterprise development culture
- Actively participate and provide feedback on product solutions, tools, & overall SDLC process
- Be a leader and go to person to enterprise/management for guidance/solutions in testing related areas including tools, process, and techniques
