We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to become a part of our national sales team!
This position can be located anywhere around the SF Bay Area. Weekly travel is required.
As our new Territory Sales Representative for the Pacific region, your territory will consist of Northern California. You will be entering into an existing and successful territory with established customers and recurring revenue services which in turn creates recurring comp and commissions for you! You will also be responsible for driving sales revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
There is planned growth and expansion for this role so this opportunity may be a good fit for someone wanting to grow their sales career in the environmental services industry!
What You Will Do:
You will be the one solving our customers’ pain points by your proven solutions-based selling techniques. You will holistically learn about their need(s) and recommend the services and products that will best accommodate those need(s). You will show our customers how our products will positively impact their business. Your ability to build new relationships and maintain current relationships is key. In addition to your sales acumen, your project management skills will ensure the successful implementation and delivery of our solutions to our customers as you oversee the job from start to finish. Your ability to continue to recommend services and products will keep them coming back to Duke’s! Ultimately, your drive and strong work ethics will result in a win-win partnership ending in sales revenue growth for your territory and valuable customer partnerships. Keeping updated on regulatory compliance, industry trends, market conditions, and competition is another important part of this role.

- Have solid understanding of selling solutions-based services
- Have strong organizational skills and strong work ethics
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as comfort with giving presentations online or in person
- Have solid project management skills
- Are driven and successful at working independently
- Enjoy being part of a national sales team who shares information with each other on best practices, strategies, etc.
- Are ready to travel weekly to visit customers throughout your territory (i.e., leave on Monday mornings and return home Thursday evenings, with home office days on Fridays)
- Have experience project managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation to closure of deal
- Enjoy networking and building relationships in person and via phone/video calls, and representing the company at tradeshows and conferences
- Hold a driver’s license with a clean MVR record
- Have strong computer skills such as working with CRMs, ERPs, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)
Preferred experience:
- California regulatory knowledge and understanding (EPA, agriculture, environmental)
- Water/wastewater/environmental services industry experience
- Municipalities and/or government experience
- At least 3 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience managing people
Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is expected to be at $100,000 - $150,000 annually (6 months guaranteed salary followed by recoverable draw plus commissions structure).
