About the Job
A national MC wire supplier is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative to be based in the Dallas/Ft Worth market. Responsibilities include selling product line to contractors for direct use.
Position will require on-site meetings with companies in Dallas/Fort Worth and candidates must be in or near given territory.
What your will be doing:
- Successfully sell product line to electricians, builders, and electrical inspectors within a given territory.
- Utilize existing relationships and research the competitive landscape to identify sales opportunities and develop business relationships with clients
- Grow client base by conducting regular site-visits, corresponding through phone
- Effectively conduct sales presentations to demonstrate the company’s product line to prospects and existing clients
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and submit daily reporting
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience selling MC wire products in a specific territory
- Existing book of business consisting of electricians, builders, and electrical inspectors
- General understanding of the construction process as it relates to wire product application
- A proven track record in prospecting and expanding business within a given territory
- Strong account management skills with a history of developing long-term relationships with clients
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communication at a levels of an organization
- Able to travel within the assigned territory daily
- Valid driver’s license required
