Overview:The Territory Sales Representative for the VV golf division will be responsible for managing green grass accounts and resorts for their assigned region. This position is the main point of contact between VV and green grass accounts and responsible for growing and maintaining current partnerships while also focusing on profitable sales expansion efforts within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key clients in your territory through exceptional customer service and communication
- Identify and pursue new opportunities through current industry relationships and prospecting
- Achieve annual sales targets
- Develop long-term sustainable and profitable relationships with Accounts
- Expand market share among current account base by 10-15% annually
- Provide industry leading customer service to accounts
- Work closely with Inside Sales contacts to ensure orders are being handled properly and delivered in a timely manner
- In Partnership with the Off-course & Event Sales Director, assist in staffing and merchandising efforts for any events that may be held within your region
- Attend regional and national industry trade shows to support your territory
- Minimum 5 years experience in golf apparel sales as a commissioned, independent sales representative
- Strong existing relationships with country clubs, resorts and tournaments within your territory
- Passion for the brand and understanding of company values
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to respond to change positively
- Solution oriented.Quickly identify problems and act with urgency and be resourceful in implementing potential solutions
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to work cross functionally with other internal team members
