Currently, we're seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Manager for Northern California/Nevada. This dynamic role offers an opportunity to represent our brand in an expansive territory, fostering relationships and driving sales growth.
Your Role:
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for dealers within your assigned territories. Responsibilities include presenting products, closing sales, providing training, and delivering ongoing customer support. This role involves extensive travel within the territory, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
You will have the opportunity to:
Travel within the assigned territories to meet with customers and showcase our product line.
Work remotely, with approximately 75% of your time spent on the road visiting customers.
Attend company headquarters as needed, typically 3 to 4 times per year.
Support trade shows and events throughout the year.
Provide product knowledge and merchandising support to customers and their sales teams.
Engage in grassroots business development activities, targeting schools, leagues, and local sports organizations.
Requirements:
3+ years of team sales experience in the sporting goods industry preferred.
Proven track record of success in a customer-oriented environment.
Reside within the assigned territory.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business principles.
