Job Description: Territory Sales Representative
Are you a dynamic sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the food packaging industry? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Territory Sales Representative in the Nashville, TN area!

We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh foodservice and food merchandising products, as well as fresh beverage cartons in North America and select international markets. Our diverse client base includes full-service restaurants, quick-service restaurants, foodservice distributors, supermarkets, grocery stores, healthy eating retailers, and various food and beverage producers and processors.
Position Overview:
As a Territory Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and success. This is a home-based, remote sales position that offers the flexibility of working from your home office while actively engaging with clients in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve and exceed sales goals within your assigned territory
2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive both volume and profit
3. Secure and maintain product distribution channels
4. Establish and nurture effective agreements with clients
5. Engage in direct communication with current and prospective customers
6. Conduct field promotion work and develop new accounts
7. Demonstrate products and provide expert guidance on their optimal application
8. Utilize persuasive sales techniques to explain product features and benefits to prospects
9. Analyze sales records, trends, costs, and revenue to inform strategy
10. Interpret account information, trends, and records for management
11. Close sales transactions and manage the entire sales cycle
12. Provide excellent account service, including handling pricing inquiries, product warranty claims, and receivables
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field
- 2-3 years of previous sales experience
- Ability to travel frequently (30-40% of the time), including overnight stays
- Valid driver's license
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Persuasive communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
