Summary
We are recruiting a Territory Sales Manager for a leader in the petroleum service/construction industry. As a growing organization, our client is looking to expand our market share by adding an experienced sales representative in the Central Florida market including Orlando and the surrounding area. This individual will be responsible for selling convenience store construction projects, fuel installation packages and retail fuel equipment associated with convenience stores. This role will report to the VP of Retail sales.
Location
Hybrid with the main office in Orlando. This territory is a 100-mile radius around Orlando.
Compensation
A highly competitive annual earnings opportunity accompanied by a bonus structure.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and manage professional relationships with current and potential clients.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Identify sales gaps within the territory and create plans to drive market share growth.
- Prepare and present sales presentations & customer proposals.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to identify the best solutions to meet the customers’ needs.
- Work cross functionally with internal teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of customer’s projects, including sales support, service, credit/collections and construction.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with vendors.
- Prepare and submit reports to management including sales reports, expense reports, and territory business plans.
- Stay up to date on new technologies, and market events/conditions affecting the industry.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in petroleum service/construction sales with a strong track record of growing existing businesses as well as developing and closing new businesses.
- Thorough understanding of the retail petroleum marketplace and what factors influence the market and customer decisions.
- Deep understanding and product knowledge specific to the retail fuels industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales management software.
- Experience using CRM and sales funnel tools.
- Ability to travel 50% or more.
