Job Description
We are in search of a skilled and driven Territory Sales Manager to become a part of our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will spearhead sales initiatives within their designated region, concentrating on the formulation and implementation of proposals for a comprehensive range of EV charging infrastructure projects, encompassing hardware, software, and installation services. This individual will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to provide customized solutions that fulfill customer requirements, advocate for sustainable energy solutions, and adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Forge and nurture robust relationships with key accounts, including School Bus, Commercial & Transit, and Trucking fleets, to generate sales leads and advance EV infrastructure projects.
Prepare comprehensive proposals for EV infrastructure projects that detail extensive scopes of work for hardware (charging stations), software, and installation services.
Conduct site evaluations and collaborate with project teams to tackle site-specific challenges and installation needs.
Establish, cultivate, and sustain business relationships with existing customers and potential new clients within the assigned territory/market segment to drive new business for the organization s products and services.
Monitor and report on the sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue objectives for the assigned territory, ensuring targets are met or surpassed.
Inform clients and partners about EV technology, products, and infrastructure development processes, emphasizing the economic and environmental advantages of electric vehicle adoption.
Engage in telephone communications and conduct in-person visits and presentations to both existing and prospective customers.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and support teams to guarantee client success.
Effectively manage extended sales cycles (up to 18 months) by maintaining strategic oversight.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in electric vehicle sales, infrastructure sales, or business development, specifically in the medium to heavy-duty bus or truck sectors.
Comprehensive knowledge of EV technology, charging infrastructure, and battery storage systems.
Understanding of grants and funding mechanisms associated with EV infrastructure or public and commercial fleet operations.
Demonstrated success in a consultative sales environment, consistently achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
Strong technical skills with the capability to comprehend and articulate complex products and service solutions.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Awareness of local and national regulations and funding initiatives related to EV infrastructure.
Proven track record in closing deals and nurturing relationships in B2B or B2G sales environments.
Capacity to cultivate enduring customer relationships based on trust, integrity, and reliability.
Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.
Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time, and prioritize a varied workload.
Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Maintenance of a satisfactory driving record.
Bachelors Degree preferred
