About the role:
You will be a responsible for promoting the sale of our services and establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships with new and existing clients. This is a remote and full-time position that requires you to be located in Chicago, IL.
What you will do:
- Grow sales through communication with existing and potential clients
- Communicate with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
- Schedule client meetings and develop action plans for follow-up
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Expand market awareness of the company’s services and industry experience
- Maintain records of client communications and contact information
- Respond to requests for proposals and information
- Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
- Communicate client information with employees, including management, as appropriate
- Research market data and maintain knowledge of competitor products and pricing
- Submit sales status reports as required to management, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goal
Who you are:
- Experienced: You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or 7-10 years’ sales experience and/or extensive client-facing activity in selling to corporate law departments and / or experience as a transactional attorney or corporate paralegal with large law firm or Fortune 1000 Corporate Law Department experience.
- Technical competencies: You have knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce. You are comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills: You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects/ assignments in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You also have excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You communicate with clients, coworkers, and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
- Positive attitude: You consistently demonstrate a positive customer service attitude in client engagement, including dealing patiently with problems or complaints while remaining courteous when faced with difficult or angry people.
- Adaptable: You can adapt to challenges and demonstrate resourcefulness. You have excellent problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
- Coachable: You have the ability to retain and implement instruction and training. You are open to learn and navigate our current processes and systems. You are not afraid to ask questions.
- Team player: You are able to work in both a team and independent setting within specified time constraints. You are able to work well with others well getting the job done.
- Reliable: You are able to work during our regular business hours at your assigned location. You are a punctual individual and able to follow an assigned work schedule. You are able to maintain client confidentiality at all times. You are successful in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Travel: You have a valid driver’s license and good standing driving record. You are able to work a flexible schedule and travel up to 50% of the time.
