TERRITORY SALES MANAGER - Boston and surround area
Maybe it's time for a change and a nice a bump in OTE pay!!
I have a tremendous Territory Manager role for Boston and even surrounding areas, focusing on Industrial Equipment. We are a distributor of fluid handling equipment that serves the manufacturing industry. We are a well-established company under the umbrella of a billion-dollar firm, so there are many growth opportunities.
We offer uncapped commissions, a car allowance, phone, computer, etc., for your home office, and a base salary, plus commission (based on profit margin). We offer six figures for years 1+.
I want a disciplined, self-starter who has a strong work ethic and works independently. This person should be aware of and sensitive to deadlines but also hungry, driven, and motivated.

Here are KEY areas I need covered, and you need to have proven experience with:
• Developing maximum sales potential through competitive sales techniques, using knowledge of the products and services, and the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
• Knowledge of pump equipment, flow instrumentation, and/or industrial products.
• Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts and consistently grows the account base and sales volume.
• Contacting customers via telephone, correspondence, or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company.
• Creating customized proposals to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Managing your profit margins within company guidelines.
• Receiving and resolving customer requests in a timely manner.
• Working knowledge of a geographic area.
• Some overnight travel may be required
• Maintaining updated and organized files on all accounts
• Providing daily sales reports on account activity and monthly documentation with outstanding proposals, proposals secured, proposals lost, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills
• Proven sales experience in pump equipment, flow instrumentation, and industrial sales.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, writing, and reading skills. Ability to communicate on all levels.
• Presentation skills.
• Math and currency aptitude.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Travels regularly to customer locations to perform sales responsibilities and problem-solving.
Some overnight travel may be required, your trips are expected to manage a successful territory.
