Job Title: Temporary Staff/Senior Accountant

Employment Type: Temporary, 3-6 months
Overview:
Our client in Bloomington, MN, is seeking an experienced Staff/Senior Accountant for a temporary assignment covering a medical leave. This role requires a commitment of at least three months, with the possibility of extension up to six months. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and be available to start in early February.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable (AP) entries with accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle monthly sales tax filings to ensure compliance.
- Perform basic general ledger (GL) reconciliations and review expense reports.
- Utilize Concur for expense reporting and other accounting tasks.
- Support accounting functions using Dynamics (nice to have) and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience with Concur and Dynamics preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
Additional Details:
- Work Schedule: Hybrid role, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Bloomington, MN.
- Start Date: ASAP, beginning of February.
