ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
The Production Coordinator, Editorial Video will assist the team with all aspects of production, from submitting contracts for shoots to reviewing final deliverables. You will have a passion for creating best practices and processes to ensure our video operations are best in class. You will work alongside a team of talented producers, editors, and production companies and report to the Director of Editorial Video & Audio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating production, which includes overseeing timelines, sending call sheets and ensuring final deliverable deadlines are met and required exports are received
- Maintaining and implementing best practices and processes relating to video operations, from tracking docs to production meetings
- Overseeing all contracts, invoices and POs relating to freelancers, acquiring the proper information and tracking within the budget; knowing the status on any of the above at all times
- Securing all the releases (talent and location) needed for shoots in addition to licensing footage and photos
- Assisting producers with watching rough and final cuts - ensuring all names are spelled correctly, vendors are credited accurately, and all photos/videos were released
- Communicating with all relevant departments about needs and expectations associated with video production status updates
- Attending shoots in-person when necessary and ensuring day goes smoothly
- Manage the video server and keep content organized
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- At least 3+ years of video production and experience with an emphasis on operations
- Strong multi-tasking skills to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders to find solutions, increase productivity, efficiency and team success
- Knowledge of and experience with submitting contracts, invoices and POs
- Excellent communicator, team player and multi-tasker
- A thorough approach driven by personal accountability and serious attention to detail
- The desire to proactively communicate questions and potential obstacles as they arise
