TEMPORARY PART TIME DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST - Spherion

Spherion's seeking a detail-oriented data entry specialist to assist a local education institute with financial records. The ideal candidiate will be able to remain focused on performing necessary data entry within their database and excel spreadhseets, which includes minimal cash collection and receipting. This person must also be friendly and open to working with their office peers to ensure all daily clerical duties are being met as well.

Temporary | $15 Per Hour | Part Time | May - August Summer Schedule: 9:00A - 2:00P

Spherion Testing Required: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Data Entry with 10 Key, Typing, and Basic office with math. Must meet minimum of 30 Words Per Minute with 98% or better accuracy.

Qualified applicants will be scheduled for an in-person interview with our customer. The selected applicant will be offered a start date, contingent upon meeting the minimum Federal Criminal Fingerprint Background and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities:
Enter data accurately and efficiently into company databases and spreadsheets.
Verify and correct data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Organize and maintain electronic files and records.
Assist with data cleanup projects as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding data security and confidentiality.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Skills:
6+ months experience in General Office environment
6+ months experience in Data Entry with 10 Key
6+ months Typing with a minimum of 30 WPM and 98% or better accuracy
Knowledge of basic office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and fax machines

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles
Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Intermediate to Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Intermedaite to Advanced written and verbal communication skills
