Temporary AP Specialist - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

We are recruiting a temporary part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in Downtown Portland. This role is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the day-to-day accounts payable functions. Responsibilities:

• Process and review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
• Prepare and process weekly or bi-weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports for management.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience processing accounts payable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
