We are recruiting a temporary part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in Downtown Portland. This role is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the day-to-day accounts payable functions. Responsibilities:
- Process and review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Prepare and process weekly or bi-weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports for management.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience processing accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
