We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Temporary AP & Payroll Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the full-cycle bi-weekly payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
2. Review and verify timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
3. Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and accurately.
4. Verify and reconcile invoices, statements, and other records.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and accounts payable records.
6. Resolve payroll and accounts payable discrepancies and answer employee inquiries.
7. Prepare reports for senior management, finance department, and auditors.
8. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Associate's Degree
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable roles
3. In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, wage and hour laws, and best practices.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
