Seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the President and a team of executives at a leading mission-driven non-profit organization in Chicago.
This role is critical, requiring someone with exceptional organizational skills, a polished demeanor, and the ability to handle complex calendar management. The organization is seeking a candidate to begin in a temp-to-hire capacity, with potential to be brought on permanently. This position offers hybrid work flexibility and the chance to work in a fast-paced, professional environment contributing to the betterment of Chicago.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday in-office, Fridays remote
Hours: 8-5pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Calendar management for senior executives with demanding and constantly shifting schedules
- Work closely with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations
- Draft correspondence, prepare reports, and manage administrative tasks
- Attend meetings with executives as required
- Schedule, plan, and organize internal and external events and meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong calendar management skills
- History of working in corporate environments or roles requiring high-level professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage high-pressure situations
- Non-profit experience a plus
- Willing to work 4 days in-office, 1 day remote, and OT as needed
COMPENSATION:
Hourly (while temping): $35-40/hr
Base salary (once direct hire)- 80,000-100,000 plus robust benefit plan, 401K, and PTO
