SHIFT NOTE:
Variable Days, 4:30a-1:00p;5a-1:30p;6a-2:30p;7:30a-4:00p;10:30a-7:00p;11:00a-7:30p; 12pm-8:30pm. Candidate must be available for any/all shifts as needed. 40hr gt,Days

Duration: 13 weeks.
Under the direct supervision of the Chef/Patient Food service Manager, prepares, seasons and cooks food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors.

- Ability to work with a wide variety of people.
- Must have very good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write and follow oral written instruction.
- Must have the ability to move quickly from one task to another as needs of the department change.
- Must be well organized and able to multitask.
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Holiday, OT Multipliers: 1.25%
Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following:
Thanksgiving and weekend after.
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after.
New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.
Thanksgiving and weekend after.
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after.
New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 yrs full-time cooking experience required.
- High school diploma required.
- Graduate of a formal technical school specializing in hotel or institutional cooking STRONGLY PREFERRED.
- Medical terminology course completion preferred.

- Work History.
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year.
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference. (from within the past two years of employment)
