SHIFT NOTE:

Variable Days, 4:30a-1:00p;5a-1:30p;6a-2:30p;7:30a-4:00p;10:30a-7:00p;11:00a-7:30p; 12pm-8:30pm. Candidate must be available for any/all shifts as needed. 40hr gt,Days

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend/Holidays required if needed.

Duration: 13 weeks.

Under the direct supervision of the Chef/Patient Food service Manager, prepares, seasons and cooks food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors.

Ability to work with a wide variety of people.
Must have very good interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, write and follow oral written instruction.
Must have the ability to move quickly from one task to another as needs of the department change.
Must be well organized and able to multitask.

Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Holiday, OT Multipliers: 1.25%

Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following:
Thanksgiving and weekend after.
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after.
New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.

REQUIREMENTS:

2-4 yrs full-time cooking experience required.
High school diploma required.
Graduate of a formal technical school specializing in hotel or institutional cooking STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Medical terminology course completion preferred.
