Job Description:
In this temporary role you will enjoy challenging yourself to assist individuals with identifying the best health insurance product to meet their individual needs in a call center environment. You will provide a consultative sales experience that will focus on improving the health care of our current and future members. You will work with the customer to create solutions and ensures a smooth sales process while achieving sales goals. Calls will be primarily in-bound with the goal of enrolling the customer into a health plan. Outbound calls will also be required to follow up and close the sale or support marketing campaigns to convert leads into sales opportunities
Purpose:
The Chat agent will need to be a licensed insurance agent and will be working in fast paced chat environment assisting customers with questions related to a health plan. The Chat agent will drive the customer through the application process online and ensure all concerns are addressed before releasing the conversation. The Chat agent will interact in a 100% digital channel with the ability to handle multiple chats at the same time.
Job Responsibilities:
• Take multiple inbound chats with prospective business customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain type of service or product offered
• Sell health insurance products to individuals Under 65 and/or Over 65 consumers in a Chat environment
• Analyze prospect needs and match to product solutions
• Conduct plan comparison and analysis for existing members seeking new solutions
• Present and explain recommended product solutions, including benefits, features, company services, operation processes; present alternatives as appropriate and review and deliver fulfillment as needed
• Communicate with current and prospective customers using a variety of computer and telecommunications technology/software to give information and answer questions regarding current promotions and new or upgraded products
• Enter names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited into computer database system
• Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
• Follow all compliance guidelines and regulations regarding Customer Proprietary Network Information, Competitive Landscape Operating Requirements, DNC legislation, and company policy regarding slamming, cramming and falsification of sales
• Maintain inbound phone availability to support telephone/chat service levels and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to scripts and sales processes including documentation in contact management system
• Achieve or exceed sales quotas s across product lines using acquired product knowledge and selling skills
Requirements
• Active Florida state health insurance license 2-15 Health, Life and Variable Annuities or 2-40 Florida state health insurance license.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
• Experience using computers and navigating among multiple systems and screens
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well developed interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience working independently and as part of a team
• Experience with listening and relating key information to comparable selling situations to apply appropriate responses and actions
• Ability to write and communicate effectively within multiple communication channels including, telephone and chat environments
• 100% adherence to assigned schedule during the open enrollment season
• Flexibility to work 8 hour shifts within the Call Center operating hours of Monday through Sunday from 8:00am to 12:00am (or as business demands) during open enrollment (October – December). All shifts will include evenings, nights and/or weekends.
• Follow directions, communicate information to customers, enter information into computer program close a sale, and learn new products and services
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondences
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Minimum of High School Diploma
Preferred:
• Work experience in a sales positions where sales skills were demonstrated
• Bilingual to include English and the ability to speak, read and write in Spanish
