Telehealth Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent

MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed (or willing to be licensed) in LA, MO or KS in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Compensation: $315,000 per year plus bonus

Position Summary: 

• Psychiatrist will see about 1 patient encounters per hour
• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) - Week on Week off preferred (7on / 7off)
• Monday-Friday with 1 weekend per month (4 holidays annually)
• An average of 30, 32, 36, or 40 hours per week options available for Full-Time
• Treating patients from Children through Geriatric patients(Across the lifespan)
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications
• Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in at least one state of the following: LA, MO, KS
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Board Certified or Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
