Telehandler Operator - ForceSource

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Telehandler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandlers safely and effectively to lift and transport materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas.
• Assist in the assembly of components on the production line.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy in material handling.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, including forklifts and press brake machines.
• Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts as needed for assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and fabrication techniques.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of press brake machines and lathe operation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
