Telecommunication (VTC) Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Telecommunication (VTC) Analyst to support one of our Federal customers in Falls Church, VA.
MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret

LOCATION: Falls Church, VA
Position Description:
The Telecommunication (VTC) Analyst is responsible for setting up, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and operating Audio/Video/Control and related equipment as well as managing all field-related operations.Provide support to include the operation and management of customer’s Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. Support all customer requests related to setting up, managing, and supporting Video Teleconferences, Conference Calling, Audio Visual requirements, and other associated bridge requests per SOP. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend actions to the customer representatives for coordination of product solution.
Responsibilities:
- Conference room scheduling and setup
- Assist with local audio-visual presentations
- Video and audio teleconference scheduling and setup
- Troubleshooting and testing audio-visual equipment
- Troubleshooting and testing telepresence equipment and software
- Experience managing service ticket queues
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in operation and configuration of audio-visual and telepresence systems (in particular, Polycom, Cisco/Tandberg, Crestron and Extron equipment)
- Demonstrated experience with meeting and room scheduling software (experience with Meeting Room Manager, Outlook and LANDesk is preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to implement and operate various types of fully integrated computer-based systems with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Experience with audio-visual systems and presentations
- Working knowledge of Crestron and Extron control systems
- Excellent Customer Service skills
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or IT related field,
- 4 years of related functional and or technical experience in support of video teleconferencing (VTC) systems such as Polycom, Tandberg, and Avaya products.
- Required certifications:
- Security+; VTC related certification
- Experience supporting Federal Government agencies, The Military Health System or comparable industry groups
- Strong PC skills
- Familiarity with LANDesk (or other Help Desk trouble ticketing systems)
