The YMCA Teen Department is hiring a Part-Time Teen Programs Coordinator!

As a Teen Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our teen programs and initiatives. You will develop and implement engaging activities, workshops, and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our teen community.

What You'll Do:
- Plan, organize, and oversee teen programs and events
- Recruit, train, and mentor teen volunteers and leaders
- Provide guidance and support to teens facing challenges or seeking guidance
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed
About You:
- Must be 21 or older
- Previous experience working with teens in a leadership or mentoring role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for implementing innovative programs
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teen staff leaders
- Ability to be a YMCA Driver preferred (valid Driver's License & ability to pass driver physical, background, & driving tests)
- Commitment to inclusivity, ensuring every member feels welcome
- Current Adult & Pediatric First Aid/AED/CPR Certification from ASHI, American Red Cross or American Heart Association or willingness to obtain the certification within 30 days of hire

A typical schedule for this position is after-school Monday - Friday 3:30pm-6:30pm.
