We are seeking a consultative sales executive with deep technical expertise in Life Sciences, a problem-solver who can support growth in our industry focused solution sales efforts, primarily concentrating on the Life Sciences, Smart Manufacturing, Product Engineering,  R&D and IoT Services sectors within Cognizant Core Technologies and Insights Business.Digital Business and Technology. The role will serve our portfolio of clients in Life Sciences and Healthcare.

We are looking for a key leader with experience in selling services and solutions in R&D Product Engineering, Smart Manufacturing,   5G / IOT and experience selling related solutions to the medical device sector.in the Bio-Pharma and Medical Sector.

You The candidate should have industry relationships in Bio Pharma and Med Tech some consulting sales experience e, market leadership, relationship management, and sales quotaa track record of achieving both Revenue and TCV targets. achievement, and excellence in achieving both annual revenue and margin targets.

You The candidate will handle a portfolio of IoT programsand project delive, establish and run governance with client collaborators, and run financial and demand forecasts across theire Connected Products portfolio. The candidate You will also drive   continuous improvements resulting in client value benefits and client strategy to drive growths, as well as a continuous proficiency uplift resulting in productivity and efficiency gains. This is a true P&L role – responsible for both top line & bottom-line growth.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Crafting sales strategy and plan for pipeline generation in the medical device R&D sector.

• Responsible for Sales, Solutioning, and Customer Relationship activities for the Life Sciences vertical.

• Key collaborator management at the client and with Cognizant stakeholders.

• Management of the account plan, investing time in strengthening existing client relationships and strategic new clients.

• Proactive proposals and RFP in line with account strategy

• Partner with internal leaders for solution creation and execution.

• Achieve annual revenue & profitability targets.

• Work in a matrix organization, responsible for prospecting and other sales management goals.

• Collaboration with Industry vertical teams, develop strong, long-term relationships with executives.

• Participate in, and matrix- and manage the end-to-end sales process.

• Demand fulfillment, collaborating with HR / Ops, Offshore/Near Shore Teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field

• A minimum of 14 years of experience with at least 10 years in a Business/ Sales role in Product Engineering, industrial automation, or manufacturing across multiple industries

• Experience with large scale consulting engagements.

• Significant industry expertise in Medical Device Manufacturing, Smart Product Development, and R&D Engineering.

• Ability to appreciate and work on 360-degree aspects around a product development life cycle for Medical Devices and related Manufacturing products.

• Deep engineering skills with ability to find technical solutions to business problems and engage the potential customer with “consultative selling” is critical.Solid technical skills in Product and R&D Engineering Services with the ability to find technical solutions to business problems and engage the potential customer with “consultative selling” is meaningful.

• Experience selling Engineering Services or R&D groups within the Life Sciences sector.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presentation and persuasion skills are required.

• Ability to interface at all levels of a client organization, including Product R&D Leaders, Manufacturing Process Leaders, and the C-Suite.

• Consultative selling experience, and the ability to collaborate with account teams.

·         Knowledge of product and regulatory requirements: GXP Environments is a preferred.

·         Knowledge of industry trends, customer growth strategies, potential opportunities in various technologies like Embedded Software Engineering, Edge intelligence, Device Engineering, IoT, 5G, PLM,Mesh Networking, WiFi, technology migrations is a must.
