Technology Operations Generalist - Young Americans for Liberty
Austin, TX
About the Job
Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is looking for a Technology Operations Generalist.
Young Americans for Liberty is a 501c(4) organization that holds the vision to free the fifty states across America with our Hazlitt Coalition of liberty legislators who will win pro-liberty legislative fights, ascend to higher office, and reclaim the direction of our government.
As a Technology Operations Generalist, you're a versatile problem solver, ready to use any tech tool put in front of you-and find new tools best fit for the job to be done. You keep things running smoothly. You're quick to identify and respond to problems found in processes and systems. When you hear someone needs help, you're the first person to say, "I can do it". Paying attention to details and considering the outcomes of decisions is second nature to you.
You like to know stuff-you can't resist going to look at the data to find out what new information we can learn from it. And you want others to know what you've learned, too. When you learn something new, the first thing you want to do is share it with others.
You've got around 1-4 years of hands-on tech experience.
You'll report to the Chief Technology Officer. You'll work closely together with the other tech team members to maximize productivity, efficiency, and create new capabilities across the entire organization.
This position is an in-office role based at Young Americans for Liberty headquarters in Austin, TX.

Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRMs
- Familiarity with database tables
- Proficiency with spreadsheets
- Strong interest in continuously learning and increasing skills across different technologies
Other Requirements
- On occasion, you'll need to lift and carry IT equipment, like a printer, from one room to another. The ability to lift 30 pounds is required.
- You need to have or be able to obtain a valid driver's license for this role for the occasional run to drop off IT equipment to get shipped.
Compensation
Salary is based on experience.
