Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Technology Business Management (TBM) Analyst, who will be responsible for working with complex information systems and developing or modifying existing systems through analysis of business and user needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or information systems, or other related field.
- 5-7 years of experience
- Strong financial acumen and data analytic skills
- Strong understanding of Apptio and the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework
- CTBME and/or ACP certification
- Strong capabilities with Excel and HTML
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for customizing Apptio’s UI
- Agile experience is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and pattern/anomaly recognition
- Ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics prior to escalation
- Knowledge of cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and quantification methodologies
- Demonstrated ability in the following methods: interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling and user interface design
- Knowledge of computer software
- Organized with strong time management
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the analytics platform for the CFO organization.
- Daily maintenance sprint: Supports actual tracking, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
- Improvement sprint: Implements new dashboards, modifies reports, and integrates new datasets.
- Customize dashboards and reporting using HTML and CSS.
- Work with ETL processes and Excel (not heavy on data analytics).
- Collaborate with teams using agile methodologies (familiarity with Jira and Confluence is helpful).
- Serve as an Apptio system administrator
- Perform ongoing data loading and validation
- Design and deploy custom reports
- Triage TBM requests and incidents
- Monitor data quality for production
- provide upgrade support
- test new capabilities and enhancements
- collaborate with stakeholders on the direction and usage of the Apptio tool
- Perform unit testing and integration testing
- Troubleshoot problems with systems
- Maintain systems to optimize performance
- Document systems
