Job Description

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Must Have
  • Experience with calibrated test equipment.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (motors, gears, pneumatic/hydraulic systems).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing/repairing electronic components (PCBs, sensors, actuators).
  • Strong skills in interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Nice To Have
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and repair strategies for high-value equipment.
  • Hands-on servicing of capital equipment in hospitals, clinics, or laboratories.
  • Knowledge of diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair of capital medical equipment (electronic instruments, surgical/laboratory equipment).

• Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
  • Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Assists team members with picking parts and shipping service parts to customers/field service engineers.
