Field Service Technician - SoloPoint Solutions, Inc.

Qualifications:

• Electronics Associate's degree or equivalent field experience
• 2+ years in field service and troubleshooting
• Proficient in electronic, electromechanical, and electrical power principles; component testing in DC/AC circuits
• Any Fiber/Fiber optic cabling experience 
• PC literate: Windows OS, MS Office, file management, software installation, admin tasks
• Skilled in configuring equipment: control boards, routers, switches, IP network components
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel, including overnight trips
• Flexible for after-hours emergency calls
• Comfortable with ladder work and bucket truck operation
• Strong customer service skills; works well under pressure with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic, computer, communication, and network systems
• Operate specialized tools, equipment, and related software
• Provide technical support to customers and staff
• Diagnose and repair electronic failures to board level
• Maintain records and prepare field reports
• Implement software/firmware changes on PCs and proprietary hardware
• Travel up to 25% outside Wisconsin
• Work independently with minimal documentation
• Adhere to traffic and company safety rules, including 5S procedures
• Based in Brown Deer or Madison locations
