Technical Writer - Govcio LLC

Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Technical Writer with a TS/SCI clearance to work in Washington, DC (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). 

Responsibilities:

• Write and/or edit technical documents, including reports, user manuals, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables
• Perform document edits with tracking updates/changes consistent with client messaging prior to external dissemination
• Establish a repository for storing artifacts and deliverables
• Compose, design, write and distribute strategic communication
• Draft and review technical documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), authorization documents, user guides and manuals, plans, and action reports
• Coordinate conference meeting support, including presentation, briefing development, and agenda development
• Develop standardized templates for all written materials
• Ensure clear and consistent communication utilizing Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and the client’s website to ensure information and communications are documented accurately and completely
• Perform other project management support necessary for ensuring successful documentation and communication regarding projects
• Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and project management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's with 2 - 5 years (or commensurate experience) of technical writing experience
• Clearanace required: Active TS/SCi clearance

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range:USD $53,770.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.
