About the Job
We are looking for a Technical Writer to enhance the reporting for our Regulatory Remediation program. This role involves creating Regulatory Closure packages, Monthly SteerCo materials, Quarterly Metrics, Outcomes Dashboards, Monthly Spotlights, Regulatory decks, and other ad-hoc requests from Senior Management. Additionally, the candidate will act as a Project Manager, guiding program activities and advancing program objectives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into clear language for stakeholders. Strong initiative, independent thinking, multitasking, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must, along with a passion for teamwork.
**Key Responsibilities**Technical Writing:
- Collaborate with Regulatory Governance and Execution leads to enhance reporting and effectively communicate program strategies.
- Translate technical details into executive and regulatory reporting formats.
- Create content to explain new technologies and processes, improving stakeholder communication.
- Establish a process for maintaining a documentation hub, including updates and periodic reviews.
- Assist with technical writing for business cases, including scope, outcomes, benefits, metrics, and training materials.
Project Management:
- Lead planning and management of small to medium cross-technology initiatives.
- Organize and oversee activities of cross-functional project teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (preferably in Jira), including RAID logs and resource forecasts.
- Provide updates on OKRs, project metrics, and ROI.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, translating technical details for executive audiences.
- Implement best practices in project management.
- Understand organizational impacts of issues and foster collaborative solutions.
- Coordinate across diverse teams to manage tasks and negotiate responsibilities.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- The ability to summarize technical updates for senior management.
- A desire to engage with external clients.
- 5 to 8 years of IT experience in the Financial Services sector.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to articulate complex topics.
- Skill in transforming technical content into accessible documentation.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation abilities.
- Robust project management skills.
- Familiarity with current technologies and prior technical experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, especially in delivering challenging messages to senior management.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
- A proactive approach to understanding project details and proposing solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

**Salary Range:**$110,000 - $185,000 annually. This range applies to the primary location specified; it may differ if the candidate works outside this location.
