Location: Arlington - Primarily Telework (must be able to work onsite at lest one day a week)

As an ‘Techincal Writer’ – join S2 Analytical Solutions and the customer to facilitate the mission of national security and humanitarian leadership by shaping information-driven decision-making with innovative IT solutions!

Job Overview: As a Technical Writer, your day-to-day duties will involve creating and fact-checking technical documentation, as well as attending workshops to acquire more in-depth knowledge of technical writing.

Duties:

• Write, self-edit, and fact-check technical documentation.
• Work with the JSP Team and adapt your writing style based on their feedback.
• Attend workshops and company-paid seminars to enhance your technical writing skills.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to learn more about specific concepts.
• Ensure your content is in line with government stylistic guidelines and our brand voice.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, [Industry-related field], or a related field.
• 1–2 years of technical writing experience.
• Portfolio of published documentation.
• Ability to convey complex matters in simple terms.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
