Technical Writer - Beacon Hill

Technical Writer (Hybrid- Boston) compensation: $120K

A fast growing and mission driven life sciences software company is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. This person will will play a key role in shaping how their users understand and interact with their software.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, edit and maintain user guides, APIs, FAQs and online help content
• Partner with engineers, product managers and customer-facing teams to gather insights etc
• Use visuals, examples and clear language to help users quickly understand workflows, features and functionality
• Structure content for diverse audiences
• Continuously update documentation to reflect product changes
• Contribute to the development of style guides and best practices to ensure consistency

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of technical writing experience with SaaS or cloud-based platforms
• Familiarity with APIs, software development concepts and tools like Swagger, Git or Confluence
• Strong focus on understanding user needs and tailoring content to their workflows
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
