Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Trainer specializing in Supermicro products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on servicing and maintaining Supermicro's cutting-edge technology products. This role involves a deep understanding of our product technology principles, including servers, networking, GPU, and storage, to ensure high-quality training for service excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Training Program Development: Design and develop engaging training materials and courses that cover servicing Supermicro products, including theoretical knowledge and practical skills
• Delivery of Training: Conduct effective training sessions, workshops, and seminars for various audiences, including internal teams, partners, and customers, focusing on the servicing and maintenance of Supermicro products
• Certification Programs: Help to create Supermicro's Global Service Education and Certification Program, ensuring it meets industry standards and the needs of our partners and customers
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Team, Product Managers, and other teams to continuously update and enhance training content based on new product developments and technology advancements
• Technical Support and Updates: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Supermicro products and services, utilizing the Supermicro Education portal and other resources to enhance technical competencies
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the education and certification programs, driving continuous improvement and project delivery
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Training and Development, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical training role, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in enterprise servers, networking, and data center environments
• In-depth knowledge of x86 server platforms and the ability to understand complex technical problems
• Experience with e-learning delivery methods, including webinars, distance learning, and virtual training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and adult learning principles
• Certifications in CCNA, MCSE, Linux Administrator, VMware, or similar are highly desirable
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$66,560 - $117,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
