About the Job
As a Scrum Master Technical Trainer specializing in entry-level training, you will take the lead in equipping individuals with no previous Scrum Master experience to become proficient in agile practices and principles. Your primary objective will be to deliver comprehensive training sessions, providing foundational knowledge and skills necessary to effectively fulfill the role of a Scrum Master. Through engaging instruction, hands-on exercises, and practical examples, you will empower participants to embrace Scrum methodologies and drive successful project execution.
+ Conduct instructor-led facilitation, hands-on labs, role-play scenarios, and teach-backs to reinforce understanding and practice application.
+ Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing.
+ Teach fundamental Scrum concepts and values, including roles, artifacts, events, and key practices.
+ Demonstrate effective use of team metrics and work tracking tools, such as JIRA or TFS, for managing backlogs, sprints, and tracking progress.
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to learners, addressing their questions, concerns, and challenges.
+ Assess participants' progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback, and provide follow-up as needed.
+ Collaborate with instructional designers and training coordinators to assist in the creation, auditing, and coordination of training content.
+ Work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to support organizational agile initiatives.
+ Prioritize self-learning and keeping up-to-date on evolving Scrum Master and Training and Development standards and best practices.
Must Have Qualifications:
+ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
+ Previous experience working within Information Technology and/or Agile organizations.
+ Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies, agile principles, and agile frameworks.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
+ Passion for teaching and facilitating learning experiences, particularly with adult learners.
+ Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment to accommodate diverse backgrounds and learning preferences.
+ Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual participants.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote
